I think the most of us women do love and appreciate the works of Mr.Tadashi Shoji. His show has always been one of my fave shows to see every season. For Spring / Summer 2014, Shoji discovers a new confidence of dressing, one that emboldens feminine empowerment and inspires Sweet Liberation.
The collection featutured beautiful
dresses made out of delicate fabrics such as silk organza, lace, chiffon
and tulle. Each piece had unique detailing to it.There were pieces with
ribbon appliques, encrusted crystals, feathers, sequin trims, sequin
embroidery and jewel and metal embellishment. The color palette ranged
from soft (lavender, jade, ivory mixed with light pearl, lemon and pale
pink) to darks. As much as I
would have loved to see a little more color on this runway , I was
pleased with workmanship that went into creating each piece. I can see
some of these pieces being worn to the Grammys or Oscars especially the
three looks above. What do you think of Tadashi Shoji SS2014??
